My name is Mike Kattner and I am located in eastern PA. I have been enthused by flyfishing since I recieved my first fly rod from my father when I was very young. I am now 35, thoughout my life so far I have become an acomplished fly tyer and rod builder in my free time. Initially I have only built custom rods for myself and friends and family members , 2015 I have decided to start a rod business part time aside from my real job and family responsibilities. About lead times for my custom rods. Bamboo rods typically have a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks from the day the order is placed. This can change slightly as my work flow changes. The fiberglass rods have a lead time of 2 to 4 weeks as these are much less labor intensive.
In addition to the bamboo and glass rods we sell, I can build rods on customer supplied blanks and can offer some other choices on reel seats and guides
